Today I found out some tragic news.  My best friend of 28 years took his life last Thursday.  This is a very difficult time as I am struggling with how to feel about what has happened. Part of me is very angry while part of me is feeling a deep sorrow.  My friend, Phil, lost his younger brother to suicide 12 years ago so it's hard for me to understand why he'd follow in his brother's steps and hurt so many around him.  

For those of you who have emailed me and sent me messages via Twitter, I sincerely appreciate your kind gestures.  

I recorded a show in tribute to Phil tonight.  Since I will not be able to attend his funeral on Thursday thanks to US Air's greed, I thought maybe I should talk about my memories with him and what he meant to me.

It's the last show before I head off to the expo and Jenny joins me for the 139th episode of The Big Show. Update: On this show, I mention that Blackwater employees have faced no charges for their attack on 15 civilians in Iraq. Right after I got done producing the show, I saw CNN had an update stating charges will be coming this week.
